HiddenMind Bio-Energy Course Level 2

Course Description…
The Bio-Energy course is designed to teach students a hands-on practical healing method and you will learn all about energy healing.

Throughout the course you will also learn chi gong, relaxation techniques and some meditation techniques. These techniques will enable you to build up your own bodies Energy, maintain personal health and allow you to perform the therapy more effectively with others.

It is as much about self-care as it is about caring for or treating others!

The Bio-Energy training course is made up of three levels.

Level 1 consists of two weekends of two consecutive days (Saturday & Sunday) and these are known as the family weekends, over these two weekends you will learn all the foundation Bio-Energy techniques. Upon completion of Level 1 training you will be limited to treating family members and friends.

Level 2 & 3 are focused on training students to become professional therapists. These levels of training are also open to those who would like to study Bio-Energy further or continue the development of their skills.

Level 2
Level 2 is therapist training and is run over 2 weekends. Weekend 1 is run over 2 days on a Saturday & Sunday. Weekend 2 is run over 3 consecutive days on a Saturday, Sunday & Monday. It is geared towards preparing you for treating members of the public.

The first weekend is another 2-day weekend. The focus of this weekend is on practicing and refining the techniques from level 1, adding more advanced techniques and preparing you to work with clients. Also deepening your chi gong practice for self-care. On the second weekend of this level you will have a volunteer to work with under supervision for the 3 days in order to replicate the clinic setting. Each student will work with their volunteer for 1 hour on each of the 3 days. This really helps therapists to prepare for working with the public and people they do not know personally. This gives us the instructors the opportunity to closely examine your technique and help make necessary adjustments over the days of the training.

You will be shown how to go through a client record form and fill this in with your client and will be advised on how to keep records in accordance with GDPR regulations and requirements from insurance companies that cover alternative therapies.

You will also learn more advanced techniques and there will be more of an emphasis on learning the theory - how and why Bio-Energy therapy works and the kind of sickness/illness or conditions that people find having treatment beneficial for, or for relieving certain symptoms.

We advise students on how to deal with any reactions to therapy that the students themselves or clients may experience and put an emphasis on developing communication skills. As there is often a reaction to therapy either during the 3-day clinic or very soon afterwards.

As you learn more about how the healing process takes place and how Bio-Energy therapy stimulates it, then it becomes much easier to understand why these reactions can take place and that they are in fact a good sign that the healing process has been kick-started.

Most but not all clients will have reaction to the treatments at some point and very typically this is felt between the second and third session. Once that clears usually by the end of the third session people feel much better and start to see and feel the results they are looking for from that point on. An example of this in that if people are suffering with pain in a particular area the pain can temporarily become more intense or can start to move to another area of the body like from the hip down towards the knee or into the foot, this really just reflects that the Life-force energy is beginning to flow correctly again and usually the pain is relieved or disappears shortly after this. Other examples would be that those suffering with anxiety could briefly feel more anxious as the stress hormones and neurotransmitters come back into balance or those with fatigue may feel even more tired for day or two.

Obviously healing in the body can take some time therefore we consistently give coaching on how to communicate this to people and we find this helps students immensely and builds their confidence. Our aim is that students feel completely confident in applying the techniques and in explaining to clients in a clear, concise and uncomplicated manner how and why Bio-Energy therapy works and what to expect during and after treatments.

There is more Chi-gong practice, and you will learn more advanced breathing and movement sequences including the six healing sounds.

There is guided meditation with Tom for all the students and the volunteers just after they receive their 1 hour of therapy. This helps people to relax and gives them insight on how to relax the mind and body and a practical technique to do so. This is very beneficial for both the students and volunteers as the body heals best when you are in a relaxed state and in fact when we are in a stressed state, we are only burning our energy reserves and don’t heal very well at all.

On these training days the morning session consists of Chi-gong practice and practicing the therapy on each other. You will get a chance to practice the therapy on fellow students and therefore will receive plenty of therapy yourself throughout the weekends.

On weekend 2 students work with their volunteers just after lunch, followed by the guided meditations with Tom. The evenings are filled with lectures from Tom and demonstrations of more advanced techniques. There is also time given for questions and answers so that students can fill any gaps in their knowledge and again we find this approach really helps to boost student’s confidence.

Practice is encouraged between all levels. Instructions on how to carry out case studies with volunteers such as family members or friends are given. Between level 2 and 3 you are required to carry out two case studies. That consists of doing four separate treatments preferably on consecutive days with two different people. After level three you must carry out another 4 case studies, this is part of the requirements for completing the course and receiving your qualification.

Level 2 is facilitated by Tom, Andrew, Anne Marie and Avril
